Our History
Originally established in 1990, Brandistry was originally known as Doherty Sportswear focusing on the manufacture and supply of sportswear.
Over the years the business model changed from manufacture to import and distribution and also expanded from sportswear to include a wide range of corporate uniforms and workwear.
During 2006 the business became Davis Doherty and over the preceding years has become a leading player in the corporate apparel industry and promotional merchandise.
2011 was a considerable milestone for the company with its opening of the largest brand agnostic Corporate Apparel Showroom in New Zealand. We still operate out of same premises today and welcome in new and existing customers each and every day to our showroom.
In 2024 we undertook a complete refresh including changing our name from Davis Doherty to Brandistry “Uniforms & Merchandise for any Industry”.
